Lightscape is an internationally acclaimed light and sound experience that first lit up the paths of Kew Gardens in London. Since debuting in Melbourne in 2022, it has quickly become a highlight of the city’s winter calendar.
For 2025, the event returns with over 20 brand‑new light installations, as well as some beloved favourites such as glowing tunnels, colour‑shifting trees, laser gardens, fire pits, and interactive sound zones.
Set within the stunning Royal Botanic Gardens, this curated after-dark trail transforms natural landscapes into a luminous world of colour, movement, and sound. Now returning for its fourth season in 2025, Lightscape Melbourne is bigger and bolder than ever.
