There’s no doubt a pond can act as a beautiful feature in the garden when executed well.
Benefits of including a pond in your landscape include:
- Water conservation – ponds can collect rainwater and recycle water rather than requiring top-ups from the tap
- Attracts local wildlife, including frogs, dragonflies and birds
- Creates environmental awareness – this is great if you have young children as you can teach them about nature and saving water!
- They are beautiful to look at and provide a sense of calm and relaxation
