Garden Design Fest

Garden DesignFest, Australia’s premier open garden show was held this past weekend (November 17th and 18th), and we’re pleased to report it was a great success! With 100% of the net proceeds going to charities selected by the Rotary Club of Kew, it was an event that we at Ian Barker Gardens were proud to be involved in.

We were fortunate enough to have the permission of our clients, Anna and Adam to open their stunning garden in Malvern East for a second time. This garden was originally opened to the public 4 years ago, 2 years after its completion, so it was fantastic to be able to see how the garden has progressed since then.

We hope all who attended Garden DesignFest had a brilliant time viewing the beautiful gardens, blessed with the extraordinary weather we had over the weekend. We would like to thank the organizers of Garden DesignFest as well as the volunteers from the Rotary Club of Kew, the community volunteers and our staff members for putting on such a well organized event and for volunteering their time for a good cause. And lastly, of course, a huge thanks to Anna and Adam for their generosity in allowing us all into their private space.
